Before You Visit

When you call to arrange your first appointment, our staff will explain the costs and our payment processes. We can even confirm your insurance benefits before your visit. We will also send you an email, detailing anything you’ll need to know for your appointment.

Our new patient paperwork is available online, so you can take the time you need to complete it thoroughly before your visit. We also invite you to bring any recent diagnostic tests or imaging you’ve had done, which can help us correlate our findings to create the best possible care plan for you.

Your First Visit

When you enter our warm, upbeat office, our friendly staff will greet you by name and welcome you. We’ll make a copy of your insurance card and your driver’s license, and we’ll show you around the office. We go above and beyond to help you feel at home here.

Then you’ll sit down with your chiropractor to have a conversation about what’s been going on with your health and what your goals are. We’ll ask any questions needed to understand your situation. Many patients say they’re surprised that we are so interested in them, rather than just their symptoms—but we explain that we are caring for a person, not treating a symptom.

If we believe we can help you, we’ll let you know and then proceed with thorough physical, orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic exams. If we don’t think we can help you, we’ll refer you to someone else.

We’ll review the results of the exams and go over our findings with you. We’ll explain our recommendation for your individualized care, including the frequency of visits and costs involved. Typically, you’ll then receive your first chiropractic adjustment. This visit usually lasts about 40 minutes. Follow-up visits will vary in length based on your specific care plan.
